Glyph sells the EC2 PCIe card which is a 1x PCIe card, and can hit speeds of over 110MB/s, perfect for single-drive products like the GT 050Q and PortaGig 50. If you are looking for higher performance, we recommend the Sonnet E4P card. The Sonnet E4P card works with Mac and PC and can hit speeds upwards of 240MB/s per port. This speed may be more suitable to multiple-drive products like the PortaGig 62, GT 062E and ForteRAID. (NOTE: Glyph Manager will not function over eSATA using these cards.)
As for laptops with Express 34 slots, we recommend the FirmTek SeriTek/2SM2-E ExpressCard Adapter. Glyph Manager will function over eSATA using this card. Other cards should work fine too, but Glyph Manager will not function with them.
