We asked Patrick to share a bit about himself and his current role at Hyperlite Moutain Gear:
As the Videographer of Hyperlite Mountain Gear, I can find myself in many locations. Some days my office is a ridgeline; other days, it's behind a screen editing contributors' footage. It's an amazing position to be in and fuels me with excitement.
This job asks for more than knowing your way around a camera. It's gear efficiency - every lens, battery, and (Glyph) cable earning its place, ultralight style. It's storytelling instinct - knowing how to capture not just the gear in action, but why people get out and after it. And it's backcountry fitness - carrying camera gear on top of your own pack weight, day after day on or off the trail.
There is a lot to look forward to from HMG and the video projects that come along with new products, stories, and educational pieces.
